Animal Farm

Orwell is a skilled writer, I must admit. Though I didn’t enjoy this novel as much as I anticipated. George Orwell’s style of writing seems to be very gloomy and metaphorical, which I’ve appreciated. Personally, I would rate this book a 3/5, because 30 pages in I got bored. His novel took too long of an introduction and the characters were not developed at all. As for Orwell’s writing and effort, I would give the novel a 4/5.
